Back in 2022 I had the opportunity to intern with the record labels Central Station Records and Sweat it Out as a graphic designer for 2 months. 
This involved designing various assets under the supervision of the labels' design lead where I worked on various social assets as well as the cover artwork for releases both from existing templates and from scratch. For the designs which required more creativity on my part, I would take instruction from the team and from the artist and to brainstorm and make iterations which I would send over for approval. Being a music label, the creative process would usually involve me listening to the songs to get a a feel for how best to visually represent the artwork, which was usually a challenging yet enjoyable and rewarding process in trying to nail down a final artwork.
